Employment Type: Full-time, direct W2 with Bright Vision Technologies (no C2C, no 1099, no third-party) Engagement: Long-term, multi-year, aligned to the Bright Vision SOW delivery roadmap Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits. Employment Terms & Visa Policy This is a 100% remote, full-time, direct W2 position with Bright Vision Technologies. This role is part of Bright Vision Technologies’ in-house Statement of Work (SOW) engagement. The client, end customer, and employer for this position is Bright Vision Technologies — there is no third-party client, vendor, or implementation partner involved. We do not engage in C2C, 1099, or third-party arrangements for this role. BUT STRICTLY NO C2C/1099/3RD PARTY COMPANIES. ALL OUR ROLES ARE W2 AND NO 3RD PARTY BROKERING PLEASE. Candidates must be willing to work directly as a full-time W2 employee of Bright Vision Technologies and contribute to our in-house SOW deliverables. No new H1B sponsorship is available for this role. However, candidates who are currently on a valid H1B visa and require a transfer are welcome to apply. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Developer to design, develop, and support customizations, integrations, and enhancements for enterprise PeopleSoft applications including HCM, FSCM, and Campus Solutions. In this role you will own the technical implementation of business requirements, partner closely with functional consultants, and ensure that all custom developments meet enterprise standards for quality, security, and maintainability. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on experience with PeopleTools development, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker with a strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, upgrades, and clean-customization principles. Key Responsibilities<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Design and develop PeopleSoft customizations using Application Designer, including pages, components, records, fields, and PeopleCode.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Build Application Engine programs for batch processing, data conversion, and ETL-style workloads.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Develop Component Interfaces, Integration Broker services, and File Layouts to integrate PeopleSoft with internal and external systems.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Build SQR and BI Publisher reports, including performance tuning and complex layout design.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Implement and maintain PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) configurations and notifications.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Develop nVision reports for financial reporting requirements where applicable, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standards.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Conduct fit-gap analysis with functional consultants and translate requirements into clean technical designs.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Adhere to enterprise customization standards and minimize core modifications to ease future PeopleSoft upgrades.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Lead unit testing, support functional and integration testing, and resolve defects during UAT and hypercare.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Optimize SQL performance against PeopleSoft data models using explain plans, indexing, and statistics tuning.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Document technical designs, code, and operational procedures in line with enterprise PeopleSoft governance.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Provide hands-on post-go-live and hypercare support, working closely with operations teams to triage incidents quickly, identify root causes, and drive durable fixes that improve long-term system stability.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Mentor junior PeopleSoft developers and act as a technical reference.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Five or more years of PeopleSoft technical development experience.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Strong hands-on experience with PeopleTools, Application Designer, and PeopleCode.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Solid experience with Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Hands-on experience with SQR and BI Publisher.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions data structures.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Working knowledge of Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">PeopleSoft certifications.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM/ERP integration scenarios.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Exposure to Fluid UI development.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Familiarity with Oracle DBA fundamentals.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for PeopleSoft integrations.</li></ul> How to Apply Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
